Says Who is a Berlin brand studio for music, culture and lifestyle. We build the thinking first, then the visual world it produces. You can take it from there, or we can keep going.

Listening Directing Executing Empowering
Listening Directing Executing Empowering

How we think,

what we're up against,

and how we work.

The belief

Most of the people we work with already know who they are. They just don’t have the words, the proof, or the nerve to put it in public yet.

That’s the actual job. Not inventing an identity, but finding the one that’s already true and building something unmistakable out of it. It’s why nothing here starts with a moodboard, and why we don’t open a design file until we can describe you without using your logo.

The bind

Everyone in a scene eventually faces the same trap. Look too homemade and the retailers, sponsors, press and funders don’t take you seriously. Look too corporate and you lose the thing the whole business grew out of.

Most agencies solve the first problem by causing the second. That’s the one we’re built to avoid.

How we work

Four steps, always in this order. Listening, before anything gets designed. Directing, turning what we heard into a position and a concept. Executing, building the visual world across every channel it has to live in. Empowering, handing over guidelines and a system your team can keep going without us.

You get the reasoning with every draft, not just the draft. And we’re not finished when the files are delivered — we’re finished when you can explain your own brand back to us, in your own words.

What we won't do

We turn down briefs that ask us to copy instead of create, and work that boxes an artist into what sells rather than who they are.

We don’t decorate brands, we shape them — which is why some projects aren’t ours to take.

The same who pitch

are the ones doing the work.
