Dreamtonics
Dreamtonics makes vocal synthesis software. They show it at trade shows around the world — ADE among them — where a brochure has to explain a product to someone who still has twenty other stands to get to.
Over three years we've built the print suite one launch at a time: trifolds for Vocoflex, Synthesizer V and Synthesizer V Studio, and the global brochure that holds them together.
The work was building a structure inside Dreamtonics' own brand rules: one layout every product shares, and a short list of things allowed to change. Colour, graphic device, imagery.
The panel structure, the type and the hierarchy are fixed. Colour, graphic device and imagery are not.
A system is only a system if the list of variables is short.
Each product gets its own graphic vocabulary. Pulled out of context, the differences are the whole point.
In the order they were made. Each new product enters the suite without a redesign.
